Sometimes in life, we need to take a break to relax and let our mind and body to readjust. Taking a break and relaxing is a great way to increase productivity — this is because when you return back to your work, you will have fresh energy and new ideas would come in mind which helps you to push forward.

Here are 10 ways to quickly reduce your anxiety :

1. Take deep breaths

Stop for a moment and focus on breathing deeply. Sit up straight, then take a long breath

through your nose, hold it for 3 second, then slowly exhale, while relaxing the muscles in

your face, jaw, shoulders and abdominal area. When we get stressed, we tend to hold our

breath or breathe more shallowly, which causes muscle constriction and tension.

2. Follow the 3-3-3 rule

This is a simple way to change your focus. Start by looking around you and naming three

things you can see. Then listen. What sounds do you hear, name three. Next, move three

parts of your body, such as fingers, toes, or clench and release your shoulders.

3. Listen to music

soothing music. The right music has the power to take away all your worries. Create your

emotional health benefits. Connecting with the nature makes you feel calm, centered and

relaxed. Be mindful of each step you take, the sights, sounds and smells.

don’t own a pet, consider visiting a friend who has one.

cloud of dark thoughts

9. Hug a tree

some beautiful relaxing energy, and through hugging, this energy would then transfer to

you. Hug a tree and be still with the tree for a few minutes, or sit on a branch, under the

tree would all help you to relax.

doesn’t matter if you’re good at it or not. The point it that you get away from the thing that

bothers you, making you feel stressful. Express yourself. Shouting, if you like( but make

sure you are in a place alone or shouting with a pillow, you will feel fresh after that). Start
